Very quite nice place for dinner. My wife and I both had the filet, but we had them add scallops to it. Everything was cooked perfectly. Cocktails were hit or miss, but food was perfect. Service was very good and accommodating. They brought my wife a bread pudding for her birthday.

We'll plan another trip to New Orleans just to come back to Broussard's. Everything we ordered tonight was amazing, especially the BBQ shrimp (the sauce is heavenly!). And we couldn't have asked for better service from David... Such a sweet person who could write the book on hospitality. Broussard's is lucky to have him! We can't wait to return... and the next time we'll save room for the banana's foster!

A very nice higher end restaurant. Went there for brunches on a Sunday morning. The bottomless mimosas were exactly as advertised. Just be careful since the staff will continue to top off your glass so it never becomes empty. My daughter had the deviled eggs then braised short ribs with over easy eggs. She loved her meal. I had not had duck and alligator soup nor turtle soup before. The waiter was more than helpful in explaining each soup/stew and even allowed me to do a small tasting of each. Both were excellent. I opted for the turtle soup. Fantastic! Then I got Josephine poached eggs on crab cakes. The meal was beautifully done and tasted very good. I would recommend this restaurant.

Fit us right in and was a great finale to 5 days of New Orleans. Great atmosphere and food, and a jazz band to boot.

Sat in the courtyard for their jazz brunch and it was beautiful. Chose to get bottomless mimosas and the service was incredible. They had three lovely women serving the entire courtyard and my glass was never empty. She even gave me a mimosa to go :) I got the short ribs and eggs and it was so delicious. The actual jazz music started an hour late, I was almost done with my meal by the time the music was playing. But it was daylight savings so maybe they got confused! Either way, it was definitely a memorable experience and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Outstanding! Amazing service & delicious food. My husband and I came here for brunch the morning after getting married. We were greeted and congratulated at the door. Our servers, James and Amber, also congratulated us and made sure we had a great experience. Service was on top of it. We were checked on regularly and they were very friendly and helpful. Food was also delicious! We were given complimentary bites of the french toast and it was nice and soft, and not too sweet with the toppings. The cornbread appetizer was moist and had gooey cheese throughout it. I got the shortrib and eggs, the meat was tender and soft. My husband got the porkbelly benedict, and the fried green tomatoes it sat on were crispy and seasoned well. To drink we got the bees knees, dorothy lamour, georgia on my mind, and a pimms cup. All were great. To end we were also treated to a creme brulee, which was beyond ordinary with an orange zest. There was a live jazz band that visited our table in the courtyard and serenaded us as newly weds with a song that left me teary eyed. Beautiful. This was by far my favorite restaurant experience this trip. Service was phenomenal, the food was delicious, and the vibes were on point. Ambiance was very welcoming and did not have the elitist vibe that many of the upscale restaurants in the area have.

Broussard's Restaurant and Courtyard in New Orleans is a delightful gem offering an authentic Southern comfort experience. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between elegance and warmth, making you feel welcome the moment you step in. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. The menu is a treasure trove of Southern flavors, but the BBQ shrimp and grits stand out as an absolute must-try. The shrimp are cooked to perfection, succulent and flavorful, smothered in a rich, spicy BBQ sauce that leaves you craving more. The grits are creamy and smooth, providing a comforting base to the zesty shrimp. It's a dish that perfectly encapsulates the soul of Southern cooking. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Broussard's is a culinary experience you won't want to miss. It's a place where the charm of New Orleans is not only felt but tasted in every bite. A definite five-star experience!

We had a reservation here on a Friday evening in August for my bachelorette party. At first it was not very busy, but it picked up as the evening went on. The waiter did a great job for our party of 10. The drinks were great and strong. I tried the bronzed redfish and it was fresh and delicious, I would 100% order that again. Everyone I was with seemed to enjoy their meal. Great spot to eat at before going out to Bourbon St bars!
